Athletic Request Option (like Course Requests) - Allowing students to elect interest/sign up for Athletics for following year
This would be useful in having this information already set in our system when trying to setup for schedules. Also would allow quick data access for our Athletic areas to see this interest and prepare for the following year.

This is ESSENTIAL!
We needed this decades ago, but found a workaround. We create classes for each of the athletic teams and include them in our annual course sign up. Once kids have all signed up, I export the kids from the classes and import them into the teams. It's a pain, but easier than a Google form, etc.
It would be so much better/easier if they could just sign up direclty for their sport.
This would be incredibly useful.

This tool would be useful to our school. Too bad this idea has been suggested over 3 years and nothing has happen.
I'm really surprised this is not available. Hoping eventually we can have this functionality. Our AD is really pushing to have this tool.
Where are you in the process of incorporating Sports/Athletics in the Course Request process?
Just created Activities to capture sign ups. Not sure if this is better than an Event registration page.
We will probably use School Forms/or Google Forms to solve this problem, but would love to have this feature.
I agree as well. I'm creating them as activities for the sign ups and would love to just use the athletics.
I agree. We are working on course requests and scheduling now for 2016-2017 and Athletics data would be helpful to have.
