Allow teachers to mark an assignment as "Collected"

Sometimes there is a lot of time between when a teacher collects homework and the time it's graded, so it would be nice to be able to mark that as collected so that the parent at least know that their student turned it in.
Is there any other way that schools are working around this without this ability?

Yes! This would be great. Not to mention, we would like it to be easier to look up old assignments that were incomplete from the "view grades" persona that parents see. They would like to view the assignment that were late, incomplete, other by clicking on it in the view grades persona.
