When assigning an infraction, Description is Required. I would like to be able to choose if that is a required field or not.
I would like to choose whether or not the Description (for parents' and students' eyes): field when an infraction is reported is required or not. If the school does not let the parents see the infractions, there is no need for this field to be required and adds an additional step for faculty.

Another reason this would be helpful is because the current infraction description visible to parents is worded very awkwardly (see idea K12CO-I-2853) and doesn't communicate what parents want to know. If we can't customize it (editing the it manually for each infraction is not practical), then we need the option to remove it.
