We have open enrollment and accept Financial Aid applications year round (budget permitting). Every year come October we have difficulty managing applicants who apply later.
For example, in October 2022, the 2023-2024 application will be released, If we have a family in need of aid in October 2022-2023, although we have created codes ( 2022-2023 and 2023-2024) not all parents complete it correctly, and if they eventually need to apply for the following year 2023-2024, they would be asked to create a new profile with a different email address; we have now lost the ability to monitor the history for this family and now have to manually edit reports as there will be information belonging to "outside year".
Glad to see this is planned. As it is currently set up, BFAM only works as advertised for us for about half the year. After October, everything is inaccurate.
