We should have an audit trail for any adjustment that is made to a parent account.

There are currently audit trails for the billing details, payment plan changes, late fees, etc. Some adjustments made on family accounts do not have an audit trail such as changing from ACH to Mail-in payments or changing demographic information for the family. Having additional audit trails will allow for resolutions to be reached easier regarding disputes or issues on an account.

    We already have plans to add additional Audit Logs to the system, specifically around demographic changes on a family account. We are hoping to have these available by the fall.

    One of the reasons why our school went with Smart Tuition was it allowed families to directly update their phone numbers, emails, addresses, etc. Starting later this year. all of our offices, Main, Principal, Finance Smart Tuition), Admissions, Development will have access to the Core. If a family makes a change in Smart, how do I track that information ? We need to be able to run a weekly audit report. Per Smart, their only suggestion was to stop all families from making their own changes and they would direct the families to call the Finance Office to make the change??? Please help and provide an audit report.
