When a parent logs into their account and clicks on the monthly charges. They see every charge for the whole year, instead of just the charges for that month. If you are a school, like ours, and have a slew of charges, even though you didn't charge anything for that month, it shows up in that month as a zero amount. How frustrating to see everything, instead just the charges added to that month. As our school's administrator, I only see what was charged, they should see that, too.
I agree! Currently, the information appears differently for us than it does for parents, which can create confusion. It would be very helpful if the billing details were consistent across views.
This is especially important for families with multiple children and numerous charges. In some cases, billing statements span several pages, making them difficult for families to review and reconcile. Additionally, parents prefer not to see line items that now reflect a zero balance, as their inclusion adds unnecessary clutter and can be confusing.
Implementing these changes would make the billing process much clearer and more manageable for families.
I agree! I continue to get questions from parents about this. We have fees other than tuition that are billed monthly, and it can be very confusing to parents when they click on a specific month and see all fees billed for the year listed, even though those other fees show a $0.00 amount under that month's billing detail. It would be much clearer if it only displayed what is being billed in that month.
I agree it's easier for a parent to just see the month's charges vs. everything. Our school has about 200 charges a year.
I agree. It is helpful to see monthly charges separated by month. Since we no longer receive monthly statements, some kind of online equivalent is really essential.
