by having the assignment calendar show meeting times (perhaps grayed out or light in color) it can make it easier for teachers to make sure that due dates are when classes meet - especially an issue when there is a special day on the calendar.1

Display Due date and TIME to students
We have work that may be due by 3pm on a day. But a student does not know that until it is 3:01 and it then says late. So if a student is not told, they have no idea what time was set when creating the assignment.0
