Quite often, when students submit assignments to myYHS with Google Drive, the file permissions are not set to give me, the teacher, access to the submitted file. This requires me to go back to the student, request access, and the student to add me to the permissions on the file. This should be done to the file when they submit it to the assignment.
The amount of time that is wasted by teachers trying to manage this process is inordinate and many of our teachers are choosing to use Google Classroom instead due to bugs like this. Here is a link to Google's documentation on how to change permis...6 Already exists

Import existing rubrics (Word, GoogleDoc, PDF)
Don't know if others would find this helpful - but some teachers have already made rubrics. In terms of their workflow, being able to import a PDF/Word/etc of the rubric would save some time (instead of copy and paste).2

In competency based grading it would be great to have the ability to add a skill to an assignment after its published
There are times when teachers need to add skill to a published assignment or even change a skill from a past assignment. Sometimes its because the incorrect skill was added or because the teacher decides to add it after.2

What if we could put in the names of several students and pull up the same requested piece of info?

Explanation of answers within assessments
Include a "description" field to explain an answer on assessments. Particularly useful for practice quizzes where answers are revealed immediately after taking the assessment.1

Different color calendars for different children
We have parents who have more than one child at our school. They have expressed a desire to be able to chose or at least have different colors assigned to different colors to help discern what event, assignment or assessment belongs to which child.2
