The user name format changed in Billing Management, and I understand it is the intention to change it in all modules. Note from BB support: "The profile view in Billing Management is an updated interface that we are looking to update other modules to match, such as Core and Academics. This profile interface would always display Preferred Name, unless Preferred Name is not present - then it will use First Name. For the name that displays on the address for the statement, this is part of the salutation on the profile tab..."

If you are going to make this change, please use FULL names (including preferred name) under Statement recipients and payers. This could eliminate the confusion when there is more than one student (and relationship) with the same name.
