Parents' Email is a column choice in onBoard, but I don't think its a selection in Core. Here is our need du jour...
We do a carpool report by ZIP Code. It is currently a mailing, but could be an email if Parents' Email was an option. We can do a List by All Students, and then include Zip Code. Exporting to Excel then lets us order them by Zip, and we can communicate with them grouped by Zip. If we had Parents' Email, I feel this could then be converted to a email campaign.
Why not have a SKY list for parent information? The filters for this list type should include the ability to filter by student relation information such as grade.
This would allow people to pull a list of parents and include any information they need directly as columns.
Josceline has said it well. I would love to teach the Division Heads how to filter the Contracts and Student Lists so that they can create some personal dashboards and then be able to easily reach out to parents.
Phone numbers would be a bonus - emails in a column is essential.
All of the lists would be great, but Student & Contracts first if possible. For instance, when we pull a list of students that have not returned their contracts in the nice new contract list function, it would be great if the parent emails were right there, so we could send them a quick note. Now we have to click into the student record, go to contact card, etc... and then you have to go through the whole process to get back to your list.
With Student lists, sometimes we just need to pull a quick list and the new function is so much easier to filter, say if we just wanted females with grad year of 2020. We'd then grab the parent emails to email in bulk rather than setting up a distribution list to pull into a pushpage.
Hi, It would be helpful in Student lists to have all parent emails listed, even if in one column to make it easier to grab the parents' info by grade level. To use them to copy/paste in an email. Thanks!
Help us find the simple wins before we can deliver it all and still be most useful to you.
Which lists (Candidate, Student, User), and how many parents? All emails in a comma separated list in the same column or figure out just one? Do you need to know which email goes with which parent (this is when it gets very complicated like Advanced Lists tries to solve).
How will you use those emails if we add them as a column - copy and paste to an email tool?

And parent cell numbers as well would be helpful
