Currently, when courses are tied together, they will only match on a course-to-course basis, ignoring term length. However, if a single-semester course is tied to a year long course, and that single semester course is offered in each term, this leaves the second-semester single-term course un-tied.

Implementation of this idea would fix this and allow more dynamic tying of courses by taking terms and term length into consideration.
