Right now, our school is displaying the current school year and next school year as published school years. In order to work with the next year in many places in the back end, the year has to be published via Core > School > Years & Terms. However, this also publishes the school year on the front end, including athletics. This is confusing to folks who browse the Athletics pages on the front end and can see the next school year, but no teams. It would be less confusing if there were separate controls for the front and back end, or for athletics and academics, to publish or not publish the school year.
