Add Conditional functionality to Forms Across All Modules
This functionality was added to inquiry forms but not school forms. Please add this functionality to school forms, medical forms, blank forms, future form types that have yet to be determined. We need the ability to add if - then logic to forms. We currently have to collect emergency contacts on a blank form because there is no way to capture the physical address of an emergency contact on the actual Emergency Contact form. We would like to include the option to add another contact and have certain required fields offered when the option to add a contact is selected.

PLEASE add conditional logic to school forms. It is the year 2026!!
This should be available for all forms, including the application. It does not make sense that some prompts have a conditional logic built into a yes/no question "Have you applied before" and others with a yes/no question do not. "Did a current family refer you?" I can not find a way to add conditional logic and have to state on the next question requiring the name of the person referring, "Type NA if you answered no above." Very repetitive, looks unprofessional and time consuming for the user (like when on a phone call you are prompted to enter a bunch of information and then get a live person and they ask the same questions. Argh...) Wow, I'm shocked how long this has been a request and it's still on the drawing board.
I believe one of the first Ideas posted about conditional formatting was around 2015. After a quick seach I have found additional Ideas with the same premiss (listed below); we need conditional formatting options on forms, applications, contracts, etc. This particular Idea was merged with 8 others before it!!!
If you vote for this Idea, please vote for all of these other Ideas from the past. Better yet could someone at BB combine them and start considering implementation. PLEASE!!!

It's been almost 4 yrs, 233 votes, and 8 other ideas merged into this one AND we still see no progress on this request. There are so many other education platforms that have been using it for years, I don't understand why Blackbaud has not figured out the coding and implemented this years ago. PLEASE, make Blackbaud more marketable and up-to-date by adding this ability within school forms. It just gives my leadership one more reason to dislike the platform. 😓
It’s been 3 years with no real progress on this. What’s the purpose of BB school forms if we still have to rely on Cognito or Google Forms for most of our needs?

If I'm reading this correct, this idea/suggestion was started Aug 5, 2021.... it's been over 2 years and BB has not implemented the Conditional Functionality to forms! Very disappointed! Not happy with BB.
Why is this not being implemented or even considered? This is so crucial for ALL forms....school forms, contracts, applications....PLEASE add this into BB!
Conditional Logic has been around for so long that I'm surprised its unavailable. When looking at BB we were excited that forms were available given we use JotForm for almost everything...but was then disappointed to hear that the forms are not as robust as what a 3rd party vendor can offer. It's time, BB! :)
If - then logic in blank forms is necessary to make forms more friendly to users. Certain questions would only appear if the previous answer is Yes (for instance).
