Custom Access for Grandparents or Unique Parent Situations

We need more flexibility in how much "view" access we can give to family members of students. Having a blanket "parental access" that is either on or off is either too much access or not enough access in some cases, and there is no in between.

For example, we have a few grandparents at our school who aren't necessarily legal guardians, but are often involved with picking kids up from school, helping with homework, etc. I don't always feel comfortable granting these grandparents "parental access" because I wouldn't want them stumbling upon something they shouldn't have access to, being able to make changes in the system on behalf of the family, etc.

There are also many cases with parents, divorced families, and custody agreements where a parent may need to see an overview of grades but should not be able to see Academic or Athletic schedules, tuition information, etc.

A "view only" type of parental or family member access would be helpful, but beyond even that, having the flexibility to determine WHAT they're able to view would be helpful as well.

yes, I currently have two families like this. The grandparents are not responsible signers for Contracts, but would like to be signers for School Forms. I need to be able to check the box Responsible Signers only, because I have some estranged parents who need access by law. but should not hold up or put weird things on a School Form.

This is tied in to my cry for help here: https://blackbaudk12.ideas.aha.io/ideas/K12OB-I-2781 but this is probably the most urgent of all those needs. If anything needs to be prioritized, this is it.
