The option to bulk add users to a role within Core>Uses/Access>Profile>Manage Roles>Members would be a time saver. We have an email access role tied to our Google SSO for graduating seniors that need to retain access to their account after they graduate. There is currently no way to add the entire class so each student has to be added manually. The additional of an add all button would be a nice addition.
As long as you are talking about an Application Role or 'other' role (not constituent or employee) this can be accomplished in Core under System Tools > Data Import. Create Import job and choose User Management / Role Import membership.

There is an Add button from Manage Roles when you click on Members for these kinds of roles.
Unfortunately adding a student or employee requires additional data.
Just the ability to add a member when WITHIN Core>Uses/Access>Profile>Manage Roles>Members would be great! instead of having to go to each user and add the role.
