We would like a notification email to go out to parents when contracts are generated for their child

This useful as our parents will then know exactly when their Contract is live so they can go in and take care of it. This removes the guessing for parents and gives them a physical reminder to get their contract done.

    This would be excellent if you could set the notification for the Publish date, or the generate date.  For us, we publish them a week or so after they're generated.

    I just offered a new contract to a new student, and the email went out to all families who have not completed their contracts. Additionally, an email went out when I had simply moved a comma in settings and saved, because it was set to s"Send when Activated". I should be able to edit the notification without it automatically sending emails out.

    We create a list of students who have contracts generated.    Then we use onMessage which uses that list to send out our email in bulk.   We also use onMessage for the reminders to the families who have not submitted their contract.  I find the built-in reminders to be very confusing in figuring out who receives them and when.

    We use the reminder option, "send when activated" and put initial instructions rather than a reminder.  This works if you are generating the contracts all at one time. We are very careful to switch the option as if you open the reminder and save it again, it will continue to send reminders. But it would be nice to have an option "send for new contract" but it would need to work for ONLY new contacts, not ones previously generated
