Allow non-athletic teams (Debate, Mock Trial, Robotics, Science Olympiad) to have team pages like athletics

This would allow competitive teams to post their roster, schedule, results, news, etc. just as athletic teams. We have several non-athletic teams that need the same team page functionality without it being listed as athletics.

Oh my god, yes please! In addition to all that has been mentioned already about page functionality, these groups also need the same back-end reporting as athletcis. We have a ton of these groups that are given athletic credit, so our AD puts them in as teams just to get the reporting feature of it. As a result, our athletic calendar filter is ridiculously unmanageable.

Likewise, Athletic groups have the ability to add a "Captain" distinction. Our non-athletic teams need a way to identify "President", "Treasurer", etc...

    This would be WONDERFUL!

It is nice that the next team's event is also shown on the Student's progress tab. Similarly, we would like that for these non-Athletic events. That is the functionality we would like to see.

Yes, yes, yes and expand to include clubs, theater, etc. Using activities doesn't allow posting a schedule that is inconsistent or doesn't meet an entire semester. For example, play practices may meet every day some weeks but not others and doesn't run the entire semester. It would be much easier to use the athletic model for practices and performances (or meetings and events) than try to create a separate schedule set and random schedule to accommodate each of the various theater and club offerings. Community groups doesn't even give a schedule option. Teachers and advisors want to see on a student's schedule everything they have going on. We need to be able to post practices, events, etc and have them pull to a student's schedule just like athletic teams.

What features are you looking for that aren't on activities?
