I have a teacher who gives daily quizzes. In the Assignment Center she can see when grades have been entered. It is green if all the grades are committed, and yellow if any are missing OR not committed. When students take a quiz late, due to absences, there is no way for her to see quickly that the student has taken it but it is still waiting to be committed. She has to open up the assignment from the Assignments page to see if there are any uncommitted grades. It would save time if she could see directly in the gradebook if there is a grade waiting to be committed.
