Current Parent Unable to see Course Requests because they are a past student themselves not an alum

We have an issue where any of our Current Parents who attended our School at one point but did not graduate, are unable to see their current Student's Course Request. Support says this is because they have the "past student" role themselves which prevents them from seeing Course Request or in our case the name of the role is "withdrawn student".

    I agree with this idea! We have had our system in place for more than 20 years now, so it's inevitable that former students are coming back as parents. Personally, we should not have to alter their enrollment record for this to function. Nor do we want to open this to past students. Their new parent role should confer the access without the restrictions of "past student".

    Happened again today and now the import to remove the "past student" role keeps failing. Uber frustrating!

    This "restriction" seems more like a bad coincidental. [aka defect ;-) ]
