Parent notification within the database to attendance managers simplify process (vs phone calls to front office) for parents and also frees up the phone lines at the busiest times of the day.  Additional allows for documentation of attendance request (absent, tardy or early dismissal) within the school database vs. separate outlook email.  A product improvement to improve this option would be offering additional registrant fields (such as reason for attendance notification) on the administration notification.
