When a student has been reported absent by a teacher, and I have not as the Attendance Manager heard from the parent I then need to look up the parents' contact info to call home. When I click on their name while in the Student Attendance page, what pops up is the student's schedule and contact information. What I would like to see at the point is the students' contact card with their parents information. I use this to make phone calls to parents to confirm that their child is actually home sick with them. As it is now, I have to use people finder to get parent contact information, which takes me off of the student attendance page.
Please consider this!
Yes please !!! - the extra clicks are huge when you repeat the process at scale for multiple students. By making the contact card info available right after finding the student you SAVE many people MANY minutes of time. When looking for a student parent info is often the most important info people are looking for.
Simple but truly impactful suggestion KP!!
This really does need to be addressed. It would make the attendance manager job so much easier if they could see the whole student contact card. No one needs to call or email a student who is absent - they need to contact the parents and/or guardians.
