Ability to edit only certain pages and edit the content on the actual page

I would like the ability to allow users to edit specific pages and content on those pages of the front end site rather than only having the ability for content editors.

It's one thing to give access to content types, but it would be nice to be able to give more control of certain pages, and also keep it user-friendly.

I know I can make users Content Editors and this will allow them to add the content to the category but not place the content on the page and make page edits.

    I agree. I would like people to be able to be assigned to specific pages and not the entire site. This is not only for security, but for accidental edits that shouldn't happen.

    Being a content editor isn't enough for departments to be able to update their respective pages.
