The way we want to use the brief description is as the beginning of the story which is "continued" upon clicking read more. And we can't just leave it out of the long description, because it is the beginning of the story. We keep hoping we will be able to just apply styles to the brief description in all of its appearances, which would solve the problem. I think this would be a useful and simple functionality to offer other users.
