Always display Team Name in Calendar

Problem: team names/sports do not show up for an event in Calendars, like this general one, either grid or list view, in certain situations. You don't know what sport something is, unless you click title and get taken to team's page.

This is the case when no Opponent is chosen but a Title is entered, Like "NCS Championship."
No opponent means the matchup doesn't show, which would have had the team name.
If a Title is not entered, the Team Name is put at top of event instead. See our spring baseball games.

Since the system does some work to automatically display something useful, it would be nice to close the gap, and somehow always show Team Name regardless of what is entered in other fields.
I would suggest the displayed "title" of the event is always = [team name] - [event Title]. The latter need not be entered for the event.

Workarounds: we can pick TBD as opponent.  Then the Matchup might appear, which would include the team name. Haven't tested this.
Or work the sport into the Title. Like "NCS Soccer Championships".

I absolutely agree with this being a must fix.  Having to re-type the team name every time you use the TITLE field, whether it is to indicate Senior Night or Homecoming or State Championship should not have to happen.

It seems silly to have to select the event to see the team name when there is no Opponent.

    Please fix this!
