Automated exports

There are many school software packages that are able to take CSV files or other similar delimited files of student data.  This can greatly reduce the workload put on users to manually enter student information into these systems.  I was told by Blackbaud support that while we can create lists and export them there is no way to automate that process.  Manual list generation helps, but most student information systems have ways to put this process on an automatic schedule to create a faster syncing of systems.  If not a scheduled export than perhaps some sort of API access to the data?

We have other databases, like for our library system, that also need to stay current with demographic information.  I've been exporting the information from Core and then importing it in to these other systems.  Most of these other systems have a mechanism to check nightly for a new import file and get it imported or data refreshed in their system.  However, I don't have any similar feature in Core that would allow me automatically deposit a CSV file nightly based on a Advanced List or some other tool in Core.  If this could be developed, this would truly integrate Core with many other systems to make it less of an administrative burden.

This is a vital need to help reduce the workload on IT departments.

In addition to integrating with Clever, this would also be good. I need a way to get data out automatically so it can be picked up by another service.
