Add Homeroom Teacher and/or Advisor to student information that can be included in Lists

In Education Edge, each student had either a Homeroom Teacher (Pre-Primary and Primary School) or an Advisor (Middle and Upper School) on his/her Bio 1 page.  This handy piece of information was available for queries to extract and group data by the teacher or advisor. It appears that the only way to replicate that type of functionality is to use two of the precious custom fields that can never be reused or deleted.  In a school environment, this is a key piece of data that changes year to year and is referenced heavily.

 

I believe that this information should be made available with the basic student information, updateable each year as needed.

    We would like to be able to add the homeroom teacher easily anywhere - emergency contact cards, any list we want to build etc. We need it to be an accessible field. To help, we have added a custom admin field that we have to manually complete for each student, however this field still does not appear on the emergency contact card when printed.

    Agree! We use the EE functionality to print emergency lists for quick use during drills. They are essential.
