Many times, it is helpful to have the advisor display on a list with academic grades, attendance lists, etc. since the advisor is the person who meets regularly with the student and is the person responsible for communicating with the parents/guardians. I have been unsuccessful thus far in creating and advanced report that pulls advisor information for each student.
