The notion of 'advisor' is very confusing in this system.  As far as I can tell, an advisor of a student is defined as any faculty member of any [and all] of the advisories into which a student is enrolled.

This is overly simplified when you start to think about things like the advisor you want to appear on a report card.   Right now, if a student is enrolled in >1 advisory, the faculty head of the advisory that appears first *alphabetically* by name is listed.  This is simplistic and needs a MUCH more meaningful definition.
