Attendance type

It would be helpful to be able to have the ability to use the present option with an attendance type if needed. We have students in our PK3 and PK4 program, which have submitted a contract for a 5, 4, or 3-day program; however, they can attend school on a non-scheduled day if they choose.

It would be helpful to be able to create an attendance type - Attended school on non-scheduled day - present; currently the system does not allow the present option.

The different attendance type would provide additional information, such as how many times the student attended school on a non-scheduled day.

When the 3 or 4-day students are not on campus the faculty member will select, LS non-scheduled day - absent- excused (with calculation methods off).

    +1. We would also like to create a category for present - early dismissal.

    We have the same issue with our 3 day preschoolers. It could be a safety issue if there is an emergency and we need to verify who is on campus, so we cannot mark them present on days they are not enrolled to attend, and we don't want them to be marked absent on days they are not enrolled to attend.
