Currently, there is a report of "Attendance Not Taken". We'd like to be able to email (or auto-email) any teacher who has not taken attendance for that period.
Attendance notifications are now available to automatically email teachers when attendance is not taken 10 minutes after a class begins. Future improvements will allow control over the time the notifications are sent.
We would love this as well. Please come up with an automatic email option to alert all teachers who have not yet taken attendance. Maybe with an option for a specific time or for a specific time after the first period class begins. Thank you!
Being able to set a timeframe- for example, 1 hour after the first class ends - to send this notification automatically.
This would be very helpful in working with teacher accountability for taking attendance regularly and student accountability for making attendance a priority. Covid threw off attendance accountability, which was already a challenge. When trying to hold students more accountable for their class attendance as we try to return to normal expectations in this area, we need the ability to easily communicate with teachers who are not remembering to take the attendance in the system.
