Bulk edit for grade plan due dates in school year setup.

In Academics > Grading > Grading Setup > School Year Setup it would be extremely helpful to be able to update the grading due dates for multiple grade plan groups. Right now I have to open each group and manually edit the dates, which is time consuming.

    This is a huge improvement, THANK YOU!

    However, one more filter would make this improvement even better. If we could filter by the marking period not just the term. I have two terms, 1st & 2nd Semester but four marking periods. Being able to filter by them would allow me to use the Default date box and speed this process up tremendously. Thanks again for rolling this change out.

    Hi Art -

    You can access this option from the Grading Hub. If you go to Academics > Grading > Manage grades, you'll land on the hub experience. From there, if you go to the Marking period box, and select ' Edit marking periods' you'll be able to perform the bulk action. From that screen, you'll be able to edit the Grading Start / End dates in bulk.

    If you're referencing the 'Due date' field on the marking period, that field may not do what you think it does. It's a poorly named field, and one that we'll be updating in the near future. The due date field on a marking period actually only affects attendance totals that display on our old report cards. The old report cards use that field as the cutoff for which attendance entries should or should not be included in the output of the report card. If your school is using the new report cards, or does not display attendance on the old report cards, then this field does not affect anything.

    Here's another Idea posted just 6 days ago. Especially in our current state of virtual/distance learning is this bulk feature important and helpful. I'm finding that date adjustments are having to be made over and over.

    This would be particularly useful with Grade Plan Groups that are Assessment style. Currently, I have 43 Grade Plan Groups in this style for Lower School and next year will have 52. It takes me 15-20 mins to change one date in just those grade plans alone. I would love to have a way to bulk edit dates!!! There are several other Ideas out there I have voted for in the past if you vote for this one, please vote for these others also; maybe we will see a Planned .... Implemented some day in the near future.
