When changing enrollment effective on a future date, the change shouldn't take affect on rosters and schedules until that date.

I routinely devise plans for changes to a student's schedule that we agree should happen after the school day that's currently in progress. They may be swapping history and math sections, for instance, and history will have already met today but math hasn't, so rather than have them attend two history sessions, I have them attend math once more and then switch effective tomorrow.

But even when I use the date box to make each change effective as of a date in the future, the student's groups menu, schedule, and presence on course rosters changes immediately. (This is confirmed in this help article: https://kb.blackbaud.com/knowledgebase/articles/Article/97809).

I guess this leaves the change date as nothing more than a data point in the student's enrollment records. It would be much more useful if the changes wouldn't actually take effect until the date has been reached.

Please make this happen. I have had this happen too. We like to give the student and teacher head's up when the change will take place. The date should be not only be the date of record but the date the change actually occurs. Thank you for looking into this.
