Archive grades
A teacher recently lost a students gradebook grades when she had him switched from one section of her class to another. I was shocked that there was no way to retrieve the grades that had been entered. Please make this a possibility!

Though the grades do not transfer over to the new class, they do not disappear. You can run the following report directly from the gradebook - Grades for dropped courses.
@ Kelen Walker We recently experienced the same issue. We switched the student back to the previous section, exported the grades and then switched them into the new section. (Not sure if you will be able to see this comment...)
