Ability for parents to give final approval for requests/recommendations.

We would like to have our student's parents have the final approval for course request and recommendations.

 

After the teachers and students have pick their courses have a banner pop up when a parent logs in notifying them about course requests that need their approval.

    Building a separate contract to get parent approval has been our workaround, but it's cumbersome. Having the system email a parent when the student submits their course requests and getting the parent to approve the course requests would be great. It might be better to give the "approval" process a different name. For instance, parents acknowledge they have seen their child's course requests. That's essentially what the contract is for. Scheduling managers or advisors can still give the final approval on course requests.

    A contract on the course request page where a parent can approve would be helpful.
