It would be so nice to have an individual tab that could show a parent exactly how much they owe, and allow them the ability to make payments from within Blackbaud.  It would also be great, from an admin side, to build payments and review them from inside Blackbaud. (Similar to Education Edge)  The idea of having two separate systems for the longterm just seems like a nightmare.  I understand the SSO… but that only allows families to go from one system to the next.  It would be nice if R&D could make it the total package.  

School Forms are nice, but there is so much more potential for customizing them and for that information to be stored in Blackbaud.  I never thought I would look at the NetCommunity forms as being advanced, but they really offer many more options.  Right now I am having my families fill out multiple forms just to enroll.  Application Form, Class Request Form, Payment Plan Form, Complete Smart Tuition Sign-up … and we are receiving numerous complaints about how tedious it is.  Plus, I have to send an email every day to Smart Tuition with new family names, and have to figure out which are new and which have already been submitted.    Would also be nice if there could be a custom link that drove an admin or parent to the form they just completed.  Just like how NetCommunity provided a pdf of the form in an email.  Now we have to track down form by form.

Smart Tuition doesn’t allow for electronic refunds.  So whether it is tuition that has been paid or a BUY NOW purchase, it is my responsibility to have my account cut a refund check.  Would be nice if you could issue an electronic refund, just like BBMS.
