Currently if a school refunds tuition, the year end statement lists the refund but adds it to the total instead of subtracting it from the total. This gives an incorrect tuition paid amount on the statement. If the fee is a refund, could the amount be subtracted from the total instead of added thereby eliminating phone calls and confusion? Many families use this total for their taxes.
