When a payment is made, if that account has to go through the NACHA Prenote Account Request, the payment should display in the paid column on the billing summary page while it goes through this process, as it does when the payment is in process. Right now it is difficult to see when a parent has made a payment, and their amount due that is displayed is incorrect since the pending payment is not accounted for.
