Ability to specify date for end of employment

Sometimes I don't find out an employee has left until days or weeks after it happens. When I withdraw an employee the only options are to enter a future date or withdraw immediately. I would like to be able to specify the date of departure just like I can specify the start date.

The "Withdraw date" is a "when we did this" date. End of Employment date is the "Date Departed" in Tenure. There's no way to import Date Departed. Using the bulk "Withdraw Employees" process in Core also doesn't include the Date Departed field.

I spoke too soon - withdrawing them immediately works, but making any other changes (like role changes) to their employment while withdrawing them does not allow for immediate changes. That must be done separately, creating more steps.

Also, withdrawing them immediately, is not actually immediate, it requires a date/time in the future. I'd like it if immediately actually meant, the exact second I click save.

So I've realized that if I put in the current date, then save, then go back in, it allows me to change it to the actual departure date. Glad there's a work around but would be nice if you didn't have to do the extra steps.
