Ability to have Nickname display in the Relationships section of the contact card

If I search for a parent in the directory, I can see the parent nicknames. If I search for a student, view their contact card, then scroll down to their relationships, the parent nickname is NOT there. I would like to have nicknames show in that section of the contact card, not just when searching for the user.

Absolutely!  Nicknames are imperative for a smooth and consistent process.

It would be extremely helpful for the parent nickname to show on the contract card instead of having to open their individual record. With the nature of our work, we need to be able to access this information quickly (sometimes while on the phone) with as few extra clicks as possible. Naturally when something comes up regarding a particular family, we go straight to the candidate record and scroll down to view her contact card.  There you can see both parents (and grandparents) and their contact information.  It is not efficient to have to look further for that important piece of information.  Thanks for considering this request.

Please display relationship nickname in onboard as well, not just Core.   It is important to have the preferred name in all locations when making contacts with our families.

I am hoping this request covers listing the parent nickname in the OnBoard contact card as well. I agree the way names are displayed should be consistent regardless of the place you are using to access the student record.

I agree!  The information should be consistent. If you look up a parent & scroll down to relationships, it will list the student by first & last names, regardless that he goes by his middle name/nickname.  This is embarrassing when talking to a parent. Note when opening the student first, his first name, then nickname is in quotes and last appears.  Yet, opening the relationship from mom's contact card it lists him as nickname, last name.   This should be consistent no matter how you get to this student rather than 3 separate ways.
