For OnBoard users, new parents (parent of candidate/ parent of incoming student) have their accounts reside with the On products. When they transition to parents, we issue them an Active Directory credential so that they can access other school services with just one password.  This is set up so that a prospect creating an account at 6:00pm on Friday does not have to wait until 9:00 am on Monday to receive an account.  Allowing the On products t create new users in our AD would simplify teh parent experience and not necessitate a username/password change when the user changes status from incoming/prospective parent to parent.
