Right now every time a new block is made it associates and checks the block as usable for a teacher in the scheduler. This then requires going into each teacher every year to uncheck any inactive or newly made blocks that may not be relevant to them. If the check or uncheck all feature were available in Core/Departments/View Teachers OR the block was not automatically assumed to be active for that teacher it would make auditting easier.
