Turn off inbox messaging for certain roles

We loved the inbox messaging but have had an issue with students bullying peers in the messaging system. We would love to make it so that students cannot message each other, but just teachers and advisors and teachers would be the only ones with the ability to message students individually

We would like to see the ability to block it based on grade level or role. Our High school teachers and students use it a lot. Our middle school students are abusing it and starting group messages and using inappropriately. If we could block by role and by school level that would be great. I know our admin needs to enforce some sort of policy on this, but if we could lock it down for certain cases, that would be better.

Specifically, we would need to disable bulk messaging for the student role, but not the teacher roles.

We have had several incidents of students sending inappropriate content to their peers. I would like to be able to turn off messaging for individual students instead of all.

Totally agree! And, with bullying protocols required now from most major insurance carriers as well as just the simple fact that it is important, I think this is a much-needed feature!

Or if we can have all messages sent by students to automatically CC their parents, would you think this would help discouraging misuses?
