When I withdraw employees from the system, it would be nice if they were automatically deleted from whichever affinity categories they were a member of. Sometimes I don't realize they are a part of any affinity groups and therefore still show up on the website even though they no longer work here. Is is more work to not have this automated.
Yes! Please include the option to remove employees from groups, roles, etc. when they are being given a "past" role. This is similar to removing students from groups when they withdraw. Also, if an employee is "past", please don't include them in a master rollover, such as a teacher on a course.
The end of the school year is coming up, and this is resurfacing as a major concern again! Please consider this idea. It's sometimes a liability for schools to have former employees to be live on the site after they have left. A legal issue definitely requires attention.
Ditto when we mark someone as deceased.
I agree wholeheartedly with this idea. All roles should be removed when the new role of past... is put into place. It keeps the house tidy! :)
