We have a few families that submitted applications over the summer months. We did not have space, and the families would like to seek admissions for the new academic year. The application information is still current, and there is no way to migrate the data into a new application, nor is there a way to forward the previous application.
Bryan the information below is only good when someone accidently applied for the wrong year or something. When you want to retain current application information and re-apply them for next school year... the re-apply feature is better. This allows you to retain candidate progress for the original year the applied and when get re-applied it will show you drop down feature for the new year they are applying. so you can view progress for both years they are have applied for and the previous year gets inactivated automatically when you use the re-apply feature.
If you have all the data that you need on the record you can change the candidates entering year.
Go to Enrollment Management
Using People Finder, search for the candidate
Select the Edit icon in the Candidate Information section
Change the Entering Grade or Entering Year
Select Save
