Inserting a Signature Image into Letter Template in onBoard

I would like to be able to insert images into their mail merges and have them render in the PDF.

Is this still a pending idea? With the rest of the admission process being so easy within Blackbaud, adding signatures to letters is vital.

It is urgent that the ability to insert images into mail merges and have them render correctly in the PDF be implemented. This request has been pending since 2015, which is unacceptable considering the importance of this functionality for our company.

Being able to send emails with signatures is crucial, as we have several employees in this situation. The lack of this capability forces us to perform manual processes, resulting in a significant loss of time and resources. Additionally, it negatively impacts the professional image we want to project.

Please, Blackbaud, we need this request to be prioritized and resolved as soon as possible. It is essential to maintain efficiency and professionalism in our communications!

We have been using this software for over 6 years...it is time!!!!!! Please add the option for a signature!

The whole point using a mail merge tool in Blackbaud is to replace the manual process we'd otherwise have for letters (mail merge in MS word, etc). A signature is a basic part of a professional letter template. This was requested in 2015 (!!), please add this!

Lack of a signature image in the decision letters is not up to the professional standard that we have for our school, and will require us to do double the work. It sounds like this has been echoed by many Blackbaud customers. This really needs to be addressed, especially considering how long ago it was first requested.

I am just setting up this system and I cannot believe that I cannot include an electronic signature on the Decision letter. I agree that this will create double work for us as I cannot use this to replace our current manually created Letters of Acceptance.

    Agreed!

I agree. This really needs to receive attention. Why have a Source Code option if HTML doesn't work on the final document? These are official letters. We need the ability to add our school headers and footers along with official signatures or this feature isn't worth using.

Why, oh why, can't this get attention? It really isn't acceptable to have a decision letter that does not represent our letterhead or allow for a signature. It creates double work and makes the online decision notification letter useless.

This has been in the idea bank since 2015!! We really need this to be an option since we still print letters to be mailed out. Please wonderful Blackbaud computer engineers, see this post!! Thanks!!!

I hope this issue gets the attention it deserves. We are not able to insert our school logo at the top of our decision letters, which is really unacceptable. (You cannot insert the logo in only one letter/form; if you select the checkbox it applies the logo to every form in the system, which is ridiculous.) Parents want to print the decision letter as it's an important part of their child's journey in private education and to not have the school logo on the letter is really remiss. I hope this is addressed soon.

Has there been any resolution to this very important issue??

Thank you, this would be great. It's a shame to tease us with it in preview mode, then it takes a while to realize that no one will ever see it. I spent a while fiddling around thinking that I was doing it wrong.

Seems like a basic function that should have been addressed ages ago in order for communications to appear as professional and polished as possible.

Kind of surprised, since can insert an image via HTML and see it in the editor but not in the PDF download. Should be an easy fix

I have received feedback from my clients this feature would save them a lot of time. Please implement this.

This change is very important for me. It is a lot of work to have someone hand sign hundreds of admission letters or to have to take them into another program to add them electronically page by page.

Have there been any updates on this item (from 3.5 years ago...)....?

I also echo William Ushler's comment. The mail merge templates are extremely problematic and unpolished. This should have been addressed by now.
