Let Platform Manager or Teacher choose the default view for their Assignments page - Sortable Order or Assignment Types
The default View which sorts by "Assignment Type" on the class Assignments page is clunky and not the way most teachers or students would choose to sort their assignments. The "Sortable Order" view, sorted by date due, is what most of our users use, and right now they have to do two or three clicks just to see things that way.
It would also be nice to let the Platform Manager, or even the individual user, set which Date View they want to use (Previous, Active, Future or Range), and SAVE that setting (much like they can save tehir Calendar view)-- so that they don't have to click it each time they visit Assignments.

I agree. My teachers are asking to be able to set their sort order default, so they don't have to re-sort each time.

...And by the way, even if Blackbaud can't give us the ability to choose a default, simply changing the default Assignment view to "Sortable Order", via whatever hard-code the system currently uses to display by Assignment Type, instead, would make a lot of schools very happy. Sorting by "Assignment Type" just isn't a common-sense way to organize your assignments...
