When setting grades to Mastery Only, the mastery section becomes required when creating an assignment. This has posed a problem for teachers who just want to create an assignment that isn't attached to a standard, for example, "bring your binder to class tomorrow." We ended up creating a placeholder standard, but faculty should be able to choose if they want a mastery standard applied.
