Ability to have Year percentage default to hide within a teacher's grade book
I would like to request the ability to hide Year Cumulative by default. Currently when I set up a Grade Book by year, Year Cumulative automatically sets to Show for students and parents. This means that other grades outside of the grade book are included in the grade for the course and many parents and students are confused by this.

Great news on this one! With the June 27th release we will be releasing a new Gradebook Admin Settings task. This task combines a number of existing "bridged" tasks including Marking Periods, Grade Access and Letter Grade Scale. It also adds some new admin controlled defaults including more granularity when determining access to Assignment vs. Cumulative Gradebook Grades. That piece should address the request you've detailed here.

This would be really helpful. Seeing a slightly different Year Cumulative than what appears on a final transcripts creates a lot of confusion.
We want to be able to hide the Cumulative for the term, too. We would like individual assignment grades to show for students/parents, but hide the cumulative until farther into the term.
