There are a number of moments where it would be handy to be able to send a message to all of the advisers associated with the students in a particular class or group. Adding adviser (and perhaps other personae) to the send communication to list would be useful. In reality making that interface perhaps a little more like official notes might be good - not in the pinning of communication to a students record, but in the "check boxes for the users you'd like to send this message to."
