Add search/filter function to Misc Uploads

Managing and finding files in this content type is incredibly tedious once you have numerous files uploaded.

    I agree. I would also like to add that it would be great to be able to edit the file OR the file path (or both) in case there is an error in the file.

    Like Karm, I avoid Misc because you can't re-upload the file. That would really be helpful.

    I actually avoid uploading to Misc uploads for this very reason, and because you can't re-upload over the file. I use the downloads content type for all documents.

    Yes, please! Right now I have to manually scroll through more than 10 pages of files to find an old file I uploaded. It's very frustrating.
